Roz Nathan is a wildlife artist covering many British and exotic species, specialising in apes. She lives and works in East Sussex where her rural studio overlooks the spectacular South Downs.
Working mainly in mixed media, Roz explores our relationships and attitudes to our closest cousins, and aims to raise our awareness of the plight of these beautiful sentient beings.
Roz runs classes of small groups of students of all ages at her studio, covering subjects including general drawing and painting (teaching people to draw is a particular focus) and specialising in wildlife and botanical. Please see the Courses Menu for details.
Roz will be exhibiting originals with the Marwell International Wildlife Art Society at Marwell Zoo over the August Bank Holiday weekend this year and will also be in the Print marquee with more originals and a variety of prints.
