Roz developed her already strong interest in apes when working for Howletts and Port Lympne zoos to create educational boards detailing how the keepers carry out many enrichment activities mimicking the gorillas' natural behaviour. Extensive research gave her a particular understanding of the close connection between our two species. Further work in this field led Roz to specialise in the Great Apes as an illustrator and painter.
